Cardinal Gas Storage Partners

In May 2008, ECP and a subsidiary of Martin Midstream Partners formed Cardinal Gas Storage, focusing on the development, construction, operation and management of natural gas storage facilities in North America. In August 2014, ECP sold its interest in Cardinal to Martin Midstream.

Cardinal’s portfolio of salt cavern and depleted reservoir gas storage development projects included: Arcadia, an operating salt cavern natural gas storage facility in Bienville Parish, LA; Cadeville, an operating depleted reservoir facility in Ouachita Parish, LA; Perryville, an operating salt cavern facility in Franklin Parish, LA; Monroe, an operating depleted reservoir facility in Monroe County, MS.

Cadeville Gas Storage LLC Closes $115 Million Financing

Cadeville Gas Storage LLC (“Cadeville”), a wholly‐owned subsidiary of Cardinal Gas Storage Partners LLC (“Cardinal”), announced today that on April 19, 2012 it closed the debt financing for the construction of a 17 MMDth depleted reservoir natural gas storage facility in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana near the Perryville/Delhi Hub in northeast Louisiana.

Cardinal Gas Storage Partners LLC Announces Acquisition of Monroe Gas Storage Company, LLC

Cardinal Gas Storage Partners LLC (“Cardinal”) announced today that it has acquired Monroe Gas Storage Company, LLC (“Monroe”) as well as an option on development rights to an adjacent depleted natural gas reservoir (the “Option”) from High Sierra Monroe, LLC, a wholly‐owned subsidiary of High Sierra Energy, LP and certain other shareholders. The total consideration is approximately $148 million.

Cardinal Gas Storage Partners LLC Announces the Acquisition of Two Natural Gas Storage Development Projects in north Louisiana

Cardinal Gas Storage Partners LLC (Cardinal) announced today that it has acquired two natural gas storage development projects from CenterPoint Energy Gas Transmission Company (CEGT) an indirect, wholly-owned interstate natural gas pipeline subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CNP). The projects, located near the Perryville HubSM, in north Louisiana, include a salt dome storage development project and a depleted reservoir storage development project.

Energy Capital Partners (“ECP”) and Martin Resource Management Corporation (“MRMC”) announced today the formation of Cardinal Gas Storage Partners LLC (“Cardinal”), a 50:50 joint venture focused on the development, construction, operation and management of natural gas storage facilities throughout North America.
