Matt DeNichilo

Mr. DeNichilo is a Partner at ECP and has been with the Firm since 2008. He is involved in all areas of the Firm’s investment activities, with particular emphasis on power, renewables and digital infrastructure. He is a member of ECP’s Investment Committee and Valuation Committee. Mr. DeNichilo currently serves on the boards of Triple Oak Power and Shentel. Prior to realization, Mr. DeNichilo served on the boards of Broad River Holdings, LLC, Empire Gen Holdings, Inc., Brayton Point Power, LLC, EquiPower Resources Corp., Sunnova Energy Corp, PLH Group, Inc. and Terra-Gen, LLC. He also played a critical role in our transaction with Dynegy Inc.

Prior to joining ECP, Mr. DeNichilo worked at JP Morgan in the Energy Investment Banking Group. While at JP Morgan, he focused on leveraged finance and mergers and acquisition transactions among independent power producers.

Mr. DeNichilo received a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University. Outside of ECP, Mr. DeNichilo serves on the board of The Valerie Fund, an organization supporting children diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders.
