The Grain LNG terminal offers LNG storage and regasification capacity to a blue-chip, global customer base under long term, inflation-linked capacity contracts. The current annual regasification capacity is 21.7 bcm and tank storage capacity of 1,000,000 m³; a planned expansion will add 5.3 bcm of regasification capacity and 200,000 m³ of storage, enabling the terminal to meet up to one-third of the UK’s gas demand.
Against a backdrop of growing LNG imports and the need for dependable regasification capacity to ensure adequate baseload UK power supply, Grain LNG reflects ECP’s strategy of investing in essential infrastructure that delivers both reliability and sustainability.
