Heartland Generation Ltd., an affiliate of ECP, was created on September 30, 2019 when it acquired power generation facilities in Alberta and British Columbia. Heartland Generation’s portfolio includes ten facilities with a combined generating capacity of more than 1,800 megawatts (MW) in Alberta and British Columbia, serving customers across Canada.
