In February 2014, ECP acquired NESCO, LLC. Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, NESCO was a specialty rental equipment company that provides specialized construction and maintenance equipment to utilities, telecoms, railroads and related contractors that perform critical installation, maintenance, upgrade and repair services on transmission and distribution, rail and communications infrastructure.

On April 1, 2021, NESCO closed a merger with Custom Truck One Source (“CTOS”), another leading provider in the field. Through this merger, the combined entity creates a one-stop-shop provider of specialty rental equipment, serving highly attractive and growing infrastructure end markets, including the transmission and distribution energy grid, the 5G revolution build-out and critical rail and other national infrastructure initiatives.

Nesco Holdings Completes Acquisition of Custom Truck One Source in Partnership with Platinum Equity and Changes Its Name to Custom Truck One Source, Inc.

Nesco Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NSCO) ("Nesco"), which has been renamed as Custom Truck One Source, Inc. (the "Company") effective today, in partnership with an affiliate of Platinum Equity, LLC ("Platinum"), today announced the closing of the previously announced transaction to acquire Custom Truck One Source, L.P. ("CTOS") for a purchase price of $1.475 billion. Nesco and CTOS are leading providers of specialized truck and heavy equipment solutions, including rental, sales and aftermarket parts and service.

NESCO, LLC announces Acquisition of V&H Inc. Leasing Services from V&H Inc.

NESCO, LLC announced today that it has acquired V&H Leasing Services from V&H Inc. This acquisition will bring V&H’s rail rental business to NESCO’s newest division, NESCO Specialty Rentals. NESCO created the Specialty Rentals division in January to focus its equipment offerings in the rail, lighting, sign, telecom, as well as other specialized industries.

Energy Capital Partners Agrees to Purchase NESCO, LLC

Energy Capital Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire NESCO from Platinum Equity, a Los Angeles, CA based private equity firm. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The sale is expected to close during the first quarter of 2014.
